Dr. Philip C. Spinella is a professor in the Departments of Surgery and Critical Care Medicine and the Director of the Trauma and Transfusion Medicine Research Center at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Spinella is a well-established clinical trialist who has published extensively in the field and contributed to research programs for the FDA, NIH, and DoD. He also co-founded the THOR network for trauma and hemostasis research and has been involved with multiple nationally funded research programs.
